Experimenting with a new onboarding feed that is algorithmic like TikTok. No initial follows.

But that means you need to be posting engaging content.

I'd like to welcome my autofollow friends to the engagement trenches. we newcomers thank you for all you did to sustain this network during the long, hard winter. us sweet summer children will never have low fids,  but we'll always have low fid friends

and now their good posts will shine in the free market of likes, unburdened by the controversy of autofollow 

jokes aside, I'm excited to see how algo feed works for onboarding!

As they say — what can be, unburdened by the autofollow that has been. 

Interesting to see what happens — expecting a 26% hit on my follower count but hopefully better engagement. 🤷‍♀️

autofollow cabal is no more! if anything, all of our followings are inflated by bots. its a tricky problem, I do imagine there will be some pruning down the road. 

every platform has this though, priority should be to grow with real users

will the auto-follow cabal be at 4-5M followers every one of them when we reach 400k? if ever.

will they ever remove bot follows like web2 social media?
