i stopped checking the rewards leaderboard obsessively once i dropped off the top 30 ranks two weeks ago and it’s been so nice. i don’t have to “work” to stay in the $25 tier and i only open to see if a friend is at the edge of a tier change and go help them a little if i’ve missed their casts.

trust me you don’t want to “work” to be up there. for every week i was, it added the stress of needing to maintain the rank, some weeks i wasn’t even trying and got up there (maybe new folks weren’t around much bc how tf else would i get there with my crap engagement) and then felt the pressure to keep up. 

too much stress for $14.5 a day reward

yeah, havent checked it in a long time. much better - and it feels even more rewarding once the amount is transferred as I look back and think that I casted what and when I felt like.
