Accurate. There’s a reason my second startup is solo founded.

good cofounders > solo founder > bad cofounders always prefer solo if you can't find a good cofounder. but if you can, its the best.

I’ve solo founded and co-founded companies. Having co-founders makes a world of difference. However, there has to be one decision maker and if you don’t make that selection or you pick the wrong person, it can be disastrous

This part resonates with me the most, and mitigates most of the bad cofounder choices

Nah don’t like this take by Flo, been seeing the same stance from him for a while now Nothing wrong with founding alone but I sense a strong cognitive bias in his beliefs Picking shitty co founders is probably going to make your startup fail, so just don’t pick shitty co founders if you don’t want to go alone

good essay that raises both the pros and cons of the co-founder relationship. selecting the right co-founder is the most important decision a startup founder can make. Choose wisely. I think we should consider going solo in that choice.
