for anyone who uses AI + Voice: went on a walk the other day and wanted to learn more about [topic] so i tried out ChatGPT voice for the first time said i wanted to dig into [topic] like i was talking to an expert and started asking questions guys wow it was so dumb mirrored all my questions with ELI5 answers (that i already knew!) was i using it the wrong way or were my expectations were too high from using deep research?

Try a different approach: use Gemini to do deep research on the topic, then have it generate an audio podcast Itβs much easier to absorb while on a walk. It wonβt be interactive but I find the focused, topic-driven format way more valuable for learning

You can also do a deep research, or even just a few questions to 4.5, and once all the information is dumped, activate voice mode to discuss it. It'll still be able to look things up as needed. The voice to voice model is incredible at story telling, and voice interactions, better than anything else I've seen by a wide margin. Nothing special when it comes to research though. Have a research model to the research, and dig into the results with the story teller.
