Today I became a citizen! 🇺🇸 Between my early love for movies and growing up in a beach town in Mexico with many tourists and expats from the US, I fell in love with the place and dreamed of moving here from an early age. Saying that a lot has happened since the 90s is an understatement. It's definitely not the same place I grew up dreaming of but my love for it hasn't changed. I can't see myself living and working anywhere else.

Congratulations! But I don’t see your flag pin! Now I’m worried your local Daughter’s of the American Revolution chapter is slacking! My favorite community activity we do is go hang out at people’s citizenship ceremonies as their cheer squad since many folks don’t have family there to support them. And we hand out tiny flags and flag pins :)
