We're noticing more gaming on the leaderboard. 

Will be making some algo changes this week to address voting rings and  similar coordinated behavior to game the leaderboard.

For real. I usually finish between 1500/2000th place. Last 2 weeks I couldnt reach 3000th. I dont know what I doing bad, I engage natural like always. 
My motivation is going to 0, I need 7 times the effort of the big accounts and thats not natural

You did nothing wrong. The points are made up and don’t matter.  It’s not about your content or effort. It’s who interacts with you and you can’t make people see you or interact with you

Your leaderboard points are not your worth. 

It’t not about your content. It’s about WHO interacts with your casts.

A like from a user who has been around for a year and has a large following should count more than a vote from someone who signed up yesterday and has no followers.”

Read that again. 

Do not beat yourself up or give up on your art, your music, your vibe. 

It’s not a measure of your worth. It’s made up. Do not let it define you or stop your creativity.

My circle remains the same, I cast and interact with the same people, not big changes were made

Also fvkc following people who don’t follow back so ‘not simping’ influencers puts people at a huge disadvantage (tested this personally)

So be yourself and genuine engagement is good in practice and good for the app at large but it’s not moving the ‘leaderboard needle’.
