inspired by @phabc what if when someone you follow comments on someone else's post, we "bump" that comment from the person you follow into the following feed w/ context so when someone you follow responds to someone you DON'T follow, you see a new quality account (generating conversations = quality)

this was what the Farcaster feed was pre-February 2024 btw they have the technology, they just refuse to use it

I joined Jan 28 2024 so I donβt really remember. Frames dropped and my whole feed became a frenzy.

yeah they nuked the good feed they had because people complained about it being too "noisy" when a lot of new users showed up imo they threw the baby out with the bathwater and set growth on the app back because that simple reply bumping concept is incredibly important for allowing conversations to gain visibility organically and to date they refuse to bring it back (even though we have a following feed that's perfect for it) because "it confuses new users"
