With all the weirdness going on, I think that it’s a still a time to reply, but I would keep it close with people you follow and who follow you back or uplifting communities (like /success ) who are very friendly and open to new folks. I don’t think this is the right time to cold engage with accounts that don’t follow you. I’d wait a few weeks until the dust settles. The spam label sucks. It’s detrimental to your experience here. If you don’t have the patience to wait, buy FarCards and Hypersubs with gated chats. Hack your way into new groups. But cold replies that aren’t worth their weight in gold will probably been seen in poor light right now.

I think people are too pessimistic about the spam label, it's not that easy to get, you just need to work on "quality, not quantity of posts and replies"

It’s really easy to get marked as spam. 1000 people lost their power badges because the algo doesn’t like what they are doing. That’s telling.

hmm, then sooner or later we will all be marked as spammers, and sooner or later this system will be changed because they will understand that it works terribly many try to earn Moxie and get flagged because of it
