I googled. Tsukubane is petunia and okesa is a traditional folk song of Niigata (I lived there but I didn't know about it lol). But I still don't get the connection between these two things

Just asked my mom about it. She's an ikebanist (if there's a word for people who do and teach ikebana) and she's in Japan on an ikebana conference so she might know the answer!
