If you're not following @ericolsz, I suggest you do. He is working on cures for stage IV cancer. Medicine in all its forms is about to move into an era of Renaissance as we have tools at our disposal we never previously had. AI being one of the main factors for this, as we can experiment at levels not seen before in our modern age. 

It excites me to no end. That we will be witness to some of the greatest transformations of systems that benefit humanity than ever before and this will be led by an awakening of truth.

I think it's got potential for predicting how compounds work or if they're toxic, and speeding things up a lil. But yeah, it's only as good as the human data it gets. Plus it can't really factor in all the real-world uncertainties in medicine.
