Why couldn’t warpcast do a campaign to onboard users in Brazil for free as a promotion?

sign up fee is too expensive for it to make sense for most of them to join, esp when bluesky is free

The ban was related to subpoenas for users of twitter that used twitter to “coordinate” for the “insurrection” post Bolsanaro.

Would linearly apply to a new social media.  Would be interesting to see how FC might “solve” this.

I'm ok with the idea of using Farcaster instead of centralized alternatives like X but will this really change things? Can't the government punish the use of Farcaster too?
