This is the problem I have with SV grind culture and the young deferring happiness in pursuit of startup success. (Not my post, to be clear) https://livingkindfully.bearblog.dev/i-am-48-today/

But wouldn’t a mindset of gratitude and some self awareness lead to more happiness in the present? Seems like you could find happiness in SV grind culture too Feels like this is more about loving the game then thinking happiness is some future goal you can reach once you have or do X

Yeah 100%. I’m talking more about the delayed gratitude people. The ones that expect to be miserable and embrace it in hopes of future gratitude and happiness
