Zorin is lovely. I don't actually like to use Ubuntu based distributions because I don't like Canonical, the developers of Ubuntu. That said, I do like Zorin and PopOS, both of which are based on Ubuntu.
What I use though, when I use Linux, including when I used to daily drive it for years, is Fedora. I also, for a long while used Manjaro and I liked what having Arch as a backend afforded. Nowadays, I wouldn't necessarily suggest Manjaro, but rather CachyOS, which is a much better Arch-based distro.
I'm also much more keyboard heavy of a user lately, so I am really into Hyprland as a desktop environment/window manager. That would be fine on anything honestly.
I do a lot of professional work in Affinity Suite, so until that's working flawlessly on Linux (through WINE, QEMU, or natively) I'm not sure I'll sell my beloved Macbook Air and pick up a Framework anytime soon.
I do have Fedora Workspace with Hyprland installed in a virtual machine currently though on here. 0 reply
