Newbie reflection. By moving from lurking to participating, more and more of Farcaster reveals itself that I previously ignored. This is my first time taking part in Tip Tuesday.

I didn’t know the text below was conveniently automated. Or that you get data on your top interactions, which is most interesting to me. Seeing everyone else’s tips has also been great for discovering new accounts via the ones I already like.

Last week was my first time doing Tip Tuesday. It was interesting to see who I engaged with most.

I was surprised by how much engagement was with the same handful of accounts that happened to show on my feed.

Since then, I've pushed myself to seek out a wider range of content from more people across the community, not just from my feed.

This week, I doubled my number of accounts I tipped. Aiming to keep this an upward trend.

Channels and starter packs helped a lot with discovery, but I'd appreciate any more recommendations in finding new creators.

I really appreciate curated lists on X for this. Starter packs feel the closest to that on here. Unlike X lists, I can only see account names and have to click through every single one to see their content first.

apps always show ones you do follow. which sure nice.

but i am forced to manually rec people and just  hope you don’t already follow them lol

I find new user discovery extremely difficult.  I guess until MM figures out how to make it work we just have to keep recommending accounts.
