Every year I’ve lived in Los Angeles, I’ve heard fireworks the entire week leading up to July 4, and several days after. This year was eerily silent until last night. My guess is it’s because the people who light most of the fireworks are immigrant families. 🙁

Wow, the quiet was kinda spooky but last night’s fireworks must’ve been extra special, lighting up the sky with so much joy
