live down the block from family but in the suburbs or 40 mins away but closer to where you can see humans and do things within walking distance idk why i have a deep distaste for the utopian suburbia of the us of a. would love to be convinced to take the plunge

for me its a worst of both worlds situation. you don't have the dynamism of the city street or the space and nature you get further out. although close to family is its own benefit, especially with kids.
