At a casino in rural Kentucky. Asking people at the sportsbook what they think about crypto: “I don’t know about any of that stuff. But I like XRP. Everyone is using it. It’ll go up.” Ask them who is using it, and what are they using it for. “All the banks are using it.” For what? “To send money.”

Every semester I’ve taught my class I ask on day 1 if anyone owns any crypto — very few do but those that do it’s usually XRP 🤷♀️

Varies every semester but very few own crypto coming in but they leave with a wallet & small amount that I give them so they can mint things etc and learn to use a wallet. I go through the basics starting with Bitcoin.
