Good morning π This weekend I ran a 10k again after five years without competing, and I really felt good about it. I even finished on the podium in my category. I'm eager to keep improving. Always fight for your dreams!

Thanks π€ When I was little, I did athletics, and the longest I ever ran was 3,000 m. Now, the longest I've run is 15 km. It's just that I got injured a few years ago, and the COVID era hit, so I stopped. I've been training again for three months now. Maybe I'll try running a half marathon, but for the long term. And you?

Cool! Seems like we have a similar profile. I ran cross country and athletics in university. I stopped for a little and I got back into it 3-4 years ago. Since Iβve been mostly competing on 5k and 10k on the road. I guess Iβll race a half at some point! Howβs training been going?

Well, yes, we've had a similar journey. I've been weight training Monday through Friday for many years, and that's my priority. But I've started running 2-3 days a week. During the week, I run fewer kilometers at a faster pace, and on the weekends, I always try to go for a longer run. But so far, I haven't planned much. I know I should start doing intervals. π π Have you planned a workout?

Nice, thatβs a good way to get back into it! You do a lot more weight training than me haha (I have to do more) I joined a club when I started racing again and I get a training plan from the coach. Itβs been so helpful! Keeps me accountable and training with a group makes it easier. Feel free to reach out if ever want to chat about training. Keep it up πͺ
