What's on your mind re: Farcaster? Feels like there's been a subtle uptick in negativity recently directed at a variety of people / teams. I'd rather that be directed my way. Curious to hear what people are frustrated with in the replies. Will only ask clarifying questions, i.e. no arguing or defending or telling you that you're wrong. And then I'll do a video response in a few days sharing our latest thinking based on any common themes.

Shadow bans and power badges left a bad taste. A lot of non native English speakers left and are hard to lure back. The spam labels aren’t helping. Without clean definitions of what’s “spammy” and no transparency into what labels we’ve been given by the team and algo, a lot of people don’t have the energy to try to figure out the unwritten rules to make it here.

Yes. I hear it over and over. I had so many friends leave and haven’t been able to convince them to come back.

Yup bad experiences leave a sour taste and many of these ppl tried to highlight their bad experience to find solutions Power badges were a nightmare users with them didn't want to interact with users without them creating a divide and their concerns were met with build a new client 😞 The ppl that left genuinely tried to make it work here until they gave up so it will be hard to change that perception

I hope the team makes the spam labels transparent. People hate being ignored and it’s sad that we don’t get notified of peoples replies. I’m sure some accounts are behaving badly but they need to be told if their casts aren’t being seen.
