GM Degens, Lots of talk lately about the price of $DEGEN, wanted to share a few quick thoughts. 🧠 Market Context BTC and ETH have been moving mostly because of institutional buying. ETH’s recent moves might also be tied to some shakeups at the Ethereum Foundation. But retail interest is still low across the board. Altcoins like $DEGEN haven’t seen much institutional support, and with retail sitting out, many are just moving sideways. It’s not just us, it’s the market. 🌍 Listings & Access We’ve done a ton of work getting $DEGEN listed and available across exchanges and apps, and we’ll keep pushing there. I think we’ve delivered great results so far. 📢 Promotion Unfortunately, we haven’t seen much promo support from Coinbase or Farcaster. I wish they’d highlight us more, I’ll be reaching out to Coinbase about that. Once the Degen app launches, we’ll be ramping up our own promo, including a campaign with Bankless. More to come there. 🛠️ Still Building We’re heads-down continuing to build, both the Degen mini app and the full Degen app. We’ve got 2–3 years of runway and aren’t going anywhere. I am not so sure in some ways about this, as there are definitely some farcaster-centric tokens that are moving hard to the upside. a few thoughts: > the way the narrative is positioned now, what's the catalyst for upside between now and September? > Channel navigation aside, is there a way to tie in experiments with $DEGEN the token into the Degen Mini App around content before the full app launches? (something like what Feeds is doing but around /degen). I think people see $ZORA, $BNKR and a lot of other opportunities that have momo, so they are rotating out. I am definitely still all in, but I think the emergent narrative of where Degen is going could be cleaner. Just my $0.02

Yeah def, $CLANKER, $BNKR, $ZORA getting big Base/social pushes. BNKR/CLANKER even got Coinbase backing. Cool apps, but feels like kingmaking by vibes not usage. That’s why builders like Racer (Friendtech) gave up, no support unless you're in the inner circle. Might backfire for Base imo.

I spent soooo many hours of my life trying to help racer via direct convos and also by being a power user and giving product feedback. did it for many many months. Then they just gave up on their users (after also printing insane amounts of money)

Agree, Racer wasn’t in it for the long game. Grabbed cash and bounced. I guess I was just venting, been in the Coinbase TG, and it’s frustrating getting radio silence. Even a simple yes/no would help. I know you’re busy, but it’s hard to know where things stand.
