Lately, something’s been on my mind.

Because of my career path, most of my friends are men. It’s not intentional, just how things have worked out.

What’s tough is hearing that some of their wives or partners feel uncomfortable with us hanging out. I understand that trust and boundaries are important in any relationship. Still, it’s hard. I’ve never seen my guy friends in a romantic or sexual way. To me, they’re like teammates or siblings.

It hurts to feel like my presence is a threat just because I’m a woman. I would never cross a line, and I wish that intent and trust counted more.

Sharing this because I know others have felt the same kind of isolation. 💖
