Out of curiosity, what’s the tech stack for coding mini-apps? Like, where do you start? Frankly, I rarely use mini-apps, and I’m an bad programmer despite having done it in internships. Although it is fun, I’ve given up on it as a career, especially with AI, but I’ll write about that in another post lol.

I still code though from time to time, so I’m deathly curious XD maybe I’ll try to code one at some point, but imo my interest is more towards embedded systems than software engineering but always willing to learn more :) i just know imma never be able to keep up with it + am not AI-savvy among other reasons

If it helps any, I use VS Code Insiders 2022 for my editor, TypeScript for the language, miniapps.farcaster.xyz for docs and ChatGPT for a lot of my questions. 😆

I enjoy using Claude Sonnet 4 as my Copilot in VS Code. I’d say it’s a “comfy” setup. I have separate chats for planning/ideation vs. editing code. I only really have backend experience w/o AI support, so realizing front end ideas quickly has been really fun!

Mini-apps usually start with React + a simple backend like Node or Firebase. Even with basic skills, they're fun to build with AI helping out now.

I guess react and node JS aren't bad places to start 👍

I personally will use react and the farcaster framework if I am building from scratch. Certain people use @neynar but sincerely I don’t know how that works yet.

Deff using Vercel for website hosting is the move! Try using v0 for front end. I'm sure @linda would love to share more tips
