😂 I made some mistakes, that’s for sure! Visits are in a cafeteria like room with assigned tables, and walls full of vending machines.

Error #1: the inmate uniforms were blue denim, I showed up in jeans. So… no shit there I was, in a prison, wearing borrowed black sweatpants.

Error #2: vending machines only take quarters, $1 and $5 bills. My stupid ass had $20s and $10s!

Friend was good though. We were his first visitors since he got locked up. He’s adapting very well.

The dumbest part was I bought tokens for pictures, and spent my only $5 bill just before going in. If I knew I could have gotten change right there…

Na error #2 sucked. I was hungry. 

There was a dress code, I missed it because it didn’t mention jeans specifically, it said blue denim. 

Something of note: the visitors area is the only place prisoners could get a coke. The rest of the facility only had Pepsi. Cruel and unusual punishment!

I mean everyone wears jeans. Was this something they told you ahead of time not to wear?
