I strongly suspect that my doctor orders bloodwork for the explicit purpose of selling supplements based on the results.

Report back to the chat… I think of depends on your age and if there are risk factors. I like a vit D check late summer early fall if you haven’t recently cause it can give you a gauge of how you’re storing during high season.

I’m always vitamin D deficient because I take medicines for nerve damage that make me UV sensitive. I think Vitamin D is legit. But I suspect that Methylated B vitamin supplements merely improve biomarkers on tests, rather than improve function of any kind.

Do you supplement D? I think it’s best everyone trusts their body and their inherent knowledge, often better info than a test. I use these, mainly cause it’s a co I trust for calcium supplements and they’re aligned with one if the folks I respect around human and plant health https://dailymfg.com/activated-b-complex-250-capsules/ will take zero, one or two per day depending on my diet and demands. 25 cents each Haven’t ever done cost benefit analysis beyond generally feeling like combined with caffeine they give me a diy 5 hour energy effect when I’m pushing months of 15 hour days.
