Very interesting conversations about Ethereum flaws over here. What do you think? agree? disagree? https://x.com/surfcoderepeat/status/1842292117747740773

I do agree and a lot of it aligns with the vibes I was getting when I was deep in Ethereum world back around 2022/2023

So it's like since ethereum doesn't have a "leader" all these different orgs try to hover around and lead to get the benefits of it. Do you think this is something that has just come about because Ethereum is older? Like could Solana see the same problems at later stages?

potentially yeah...I think a lot of it is because Ethereum development by design has a lot of politics built in the mentality has always been this optimistic approach that Ethereum's social layer would be able to fight back against people taking advantage of that political process, and that the community would stay on the right track only implementing technical paths that were truly useful in practice though, I don't think that's played out and savvy political actors have slyly put on the appearance of Ethereum alignment while steering protocol changes to their own benefit politics is always a dirty game and I think Ethereum core team was arrogant in assuming they could avoid the pitfalls of bureaucracy and bloated governance just because this is crypto
