Had my birthday today out on the water w family. Younger me would have been trying to measure ‘things’ or asking “what have I learned”. I now see it as naïveté, cringey and mostly useless. But asking if younger me would be proud has been useful. A better audit: synthesis of choices made vs stats on paper.
