I showed the new coinbase wallet (beta) to someone who is not deeply entrenched in crypto. Their reaction: So, it replaces 1) Facebook [IG, tiktok, X], 2) Apple Wallet, 3) Venmo, AND 4) the App Store? 😱 And it takes care of all the wallet complexity? 😱 And anyone will be able to access it and use it? 😱 And users still have self custody over their funds? 😱 Needless to say, they were impressed and could see how this becomes a massively adopted platform

You know, early on, coinbase wallet lost my interest due to a bug where the seed phrase wasn't actually backing up and I lost money twice w two different accounts. But presuming they solved that (although I'd write the phrase down anyway next time) I'm definitely sold on coinbase wallet yet again. Looking forward to trying it out once it's out of beta
