what's your favorite portable speaker with EXCELLENT sound?

JBL and UE make really durable stuff.

Battle tested on the pedicabs for years. Getting kicked everyday and rained on regularly. And the sound competes with traffic so that's worth something. 

I used a Bose Bluetooth speaker and it was very durable but decidedly worse sound quality

We skate with a UE Roll that's like 7 years old and it still bangs.  I've used the Boom but it's a bit too big to carry while skating.

I think it's the UE boom that a lot of my pedicabbing friends have.

Can confirm that UE makes a solid speaker.  Durable with good sound.

Yeah... I think the issue is stereo doesn't sound good on it. I used it for mobile music production and it was horrible choice.

currently have an ultimate ears megaboom and i agree on the durability, but i feel like the sound quality is kind of muffled. surprised about the bose!!!!

Seconded. When my tiny Flip 6 gives out, I'm getting another. Or a Charge.
