what's your favorite portable speaker with EXCELLENT sound?

Yeah... I think the issue is stereo doesn't sound good on it. I used it for mobile music production and it was horrible choice.

currently have an ultimate ears megaboom and i agree on the durability, but i feel like the sound quality is kind of muffled. surprised about the bose!!!!

JBL and UE make really durable stuff.

Battle tested on the pedicabs for years. Getting kicked everyday and rained on regularly. And the sound competes with traffic so that's worth something. 

I used a Bose Bluetooth speaker and it was very durable but decidedly worse sound quality

i wouldn't bring an OB-4 to many places.
get a small bose, those are reliable, great sound and build quality.

I use a Soundcore Motion+ not the very best but it’s pretty solid sound, long battery life and affordable ~60€

I have JBL flip5, maybe a little bulky for hikes, but it is a great brand, good sound, not expensive, water resistant and the battery lasts quite a lot! 
I use it in my car that everything but the radio, makes a sound 🤣 🤣

Gotta be the JBL Go 3 for me
