Hey Degens, we’d love your input. As we build the new Degen App, we’re thinking carefully about how rewards should work. Tipping will be supported from day one, but we may evolve beyond the current tip allowance model. One thing’s for sure—we’ll still have a big pool of $DEGEN to reward the community. The question is: what kind of behavior should be rewarded? Some platforms reward content that gets seen the most. Others reward creators who keep people engaged. We want to hear from you—what do you think actually adds value to the Degen and Farcaster experience? Is it people who tip regularly? People who create? Curate? Start great conversations? This isn’t about creating a perfectly equal system. Naturally, more active users with bigger audiences will earn more. Hey there! So, for me, I think rewards should totally be dished out based on a bunch of different metrics, all with the right weight. Things like loyalty to Degen, creating good content (whether that's high engagement or just super high quality), holding tokens, your OpenRank score, or even inviting new folks to Degen or whatever other ranking systems pop up. You'd have to figure out the right weighting for each, though. Honestly, I think this whole thing needs a ton of thought, but that's just what came to mind!
