hot take new jersey is top five most sought after real estate IN THE WORLD — the entire state is minimum 5x return on housing in the next decade with parts of north jersey up 10-15x, given macro holds relatively the same new jersey is every single state in one, with acres of full cycle farmlands, rolling fields, gorgeous lakes, hikes, mountains, skiing & resorts, miles of beaches & coastlines, boardwalks & casinos, cities, towns, history, great food, great children’s sports clubs, parks, massive airport, express train lines up the entire coast, proximity to philly, boston and DC, some of the top private & public grade schools in the nation, many of the top athletic & academic high schools in the nation, universities like princeton, rutgers and steven’s — and all 45 minutes from the most famous city in the world new jersey, the armpit of america, one of the most corrupt mafia-intwined police-states in the country, is unfortunately free money

As someone who grew up in NJ, can confirm. The amount of cultural heterogeneity, failing infrastructure, years of corruption yet somehow the state still exists will be studied in human history as the pinnacle of societal success.
