You'd be surprised! Insane focus, clarity of thought, recall, calmness, etc... overall very optimistic and feeling good! 🙂 Occasionally, my energy will drop a bit and/or I'll get a bit scatter-brained, but I've anecdotally found that any amount of physical activity (e.g. stretching, walking) will combat this!

fascinating and totally counter-intuitive! reminds me to the effects of a keto diet, loved the cognitive clarity and feeling more consistently energetic but struggled with cravings with a 5-days water only fast you get into keto too. did you try shorter fasts prior to this one?

I usually go strictly keto to prepare! My normal day-to-day is intermittent fasting with a simple 16:8 split -- I've done shorter fasts, but there are health/longevity benefits that don't start ramping up until a few days in which is why I do the extended fasts!

yeah the average person definitely overfeeds and doesn’t give enough breaks to the body to detox i already fast and have done keto before so will test these fasting periods, thanks for sharing!
