Not true and all you had to do was use Google. Mecca was built by Abraham - the founding father of Abrahmic religions, which also includes  Christianity and Judaism:

GPT means Mecca the city. If you read the wiki page, it references paleontological discoveries that the region was once the cradle of life and greenery and shit (makes sense - oil right) and hence the seed of a house to worship god was setup in that region. The cube was setup be Abraham.

What you mentioned might be accurate according to some Islamic historical sources. However, it is widely known among Muslims that Abraham (Ibrahim) is the one who built the Kaaba.

Also Islam is the Arabic word meaning Surrender (to God’s Will)
