thinking of pricing for a new (nft) project I've been working on. Was considering making it free but then there's a possibility that bots will snatch all. What's a price that would stop bots but still stay affordable? should I do allow list for pro subs? - 10k generative - both experimental and simple (vibe coding it, things might break) - could be used as pfp (although it's not a classic PFP project)

I can see a lot of people are selfish here, talking about holding a pro Nft, what happens to pro subscribers outside the first 10k, are we not humans too? Just put a price tag of 0.006 eth and make it first come first served for pro subscribers.

Bro, if it was one of those cute things you were making a month or so ago, i would happily pay $30 for that if it was a unique 1 of 10k pfp I was even keen before the farcaster art you made. (If you remeber me asking) Anything above 30$ and people will have expectations. Also, i am a farcaster pro, but i wouldnt limit it to us.

curious if you’ve thought about progressive pricing? like first 500 free (pro only maybe), then step it up to $2, $5 etc. helps limit bots + still feels accessible.

10K * $5 are 50K, 1K nfts would be just 5K dollars investment the double for $10 some people may see it as good risk ratio (others may not) it is always hard to know in the case of ultra hyped collections I just go free and no one use bots on them but your case in this particular timing is fire, hard to say

I say a as a 10k collection you should do a WL for the holders of the pro nft collection, around 3-5 USD should be good

I think there are so few bots as pro-accounts so free option for a limited amount won’t cause any big damage I think

Consider that Pro accounts have already paid $120. If you're worried for bots (as you believe there are bots among those) maybe a cutoff neynar score of >0.6 could help?
