While searching for coffee, I walked by this group of old friends playing great folk music together on a porch, all original songs. I ended up staying and chatting with them for a while. They told me to join them in a future jam session. I’m a mediocre guitar and banjo player, but I love to play. I made a little wish in my heart to be lucky enough to grow old like them and play music with people I like. I also picked up a few antiques in this whimsical town for /thenextwave I’ll show you all sometime. One of them will be part of an upcoming themed collection in the space called “I’ll believe it when I see it.”

Fun fact I unsuccessfully pitched Coinbase on making their own USD stablecoin in late 2016 / early 2017 and wrote up a whole spec for it :P But big subscriber to ideas are cheap and it's all about the execution i.e. team that ended up launching USDC crushed it and timing was great

Some thoughts on mini app go to market (not comprehensive): - get users to give feedback and test early before launch. They'll likely want to help support when it launches too (ping me if you want to join a group chat of 300 mini app testers) - don't mass spam when reaching out to people in DCs, be thoughtful - @ampsfun is a great tool for getting more distribution - use notifications to help with retention and keep users updated about new rewards, challenges, etc - @qrcoindotfun gave a small amount of tokens to anyone who added mini app -> one of the most popular right now in terms of opens. Also QR is great for getting distribution - founders and community members can tip tokens through @noiceapp for distribution - add social features where users keep coming back or compete e.g. MiniWord by @cbeav, FarGuesser by @vmathur - add a share on Farcaster button in mini app, bonus if it can be a personalized image for the user so they're more likely to share (a lot of builders forget to add this)

the dumbest question i hear in the space over and over again: "do you view [insert any app, protocol, chain here] as a competitor?" mfer, the entire space has at most 50k legitimate users. you're ngmi if you're here to slice and dice the existing userbase. maybe consider looking outwards and growing the pie

This is actually happening, potentially before ~2031 that I expected at the time (though still years away). ~Infinite chains, ~infinite composability, ~infinite scalability, all verified on your phone with a single infinitely recursive ZKP - this remains the only way to global scale Of course, in 2025, this is not the bottleneck, this was going to happen anyway. The real focus must be on stimulating demand - Ethereum L2s are barely saturating 3 blobs for 15+ months, and for 3+ years the industry at large is severely oversupplying blockspace, and the gap is ever widening. Building an infinite ocean is useless if you have a swimming pool's water to fill it with.
