What has to happen for you to say: “that was a good day”?

Every day without: bad news, physical & emotional pain is a good day in my book. I’m more of an optimist and I’m definitely grateful that I get to do what I want for the most part, have a family, friends and live in a stable place in the world.

Not required, but sufficient: hanging out with a friend (or new friend!)

Someone telling me thank you for helping them in some way. Clients, kids, husband, friends, neighbor… Doing something that creates enough impact for someone to stop their day to thank me means I had a day where I made a difference vs just accomplished something for myself or crossed of items on a to-do list.
