My monthly budget for food is v low too. I am a vegetarian, mostly vegan; and an amazing home chef. I avoid most processed and prepared foods and commercial condiments during grocery shopping—which also can drive up a grocery bill. Sounds like you got your culinary budget in good shape, @pirosb3! Bravo!
