I haven’t been as motivated to work on /stokefire recently. Mainly because I don’t see a clear and straight forward path to growing it. The market isn’t currently interested in onchain games and projects trying newer things like Stoke Fire. Which causes problems for Stoke Fire because our token model is built around the speculation of $FIRE and volume that comes from it. I have seen that a token can be very valuable for a game in that when speculation is high, it can drive lots of growth and interest in the game and people are willing to give it a try. But when speculation is down, the token becomes like a dead weight that can ruin the fun experience for players. Double-edged sword.

You built something really cool man I think these games need to let you check out, the retain daily or start all over mechanic seems to be the sword that kills these kind of games if you want it to be long-term Hard balance the speculation ponzi economic that drives rewards with long term gameplay but I think there's magic if you can crack it Stoke fire has a lot of parallels with a game I used to play called travian, it's essentially seasonal Something like seasons where you grind and compete for a constraint period of time might be an interesting angle - increases the competitive nature of the game in a way that doesn't burn players out as much If it is, travians model and mechanics are definitely worth checking out

Thanks for the support! Yes I agree that someone balancing speculation and rewards with gameplay could be huge if someone cracks it.
