Personally a fan of Zora's approach. Feels like it evokes the process more than just a +

Good point. On Warpcast they paired it with the eth symbol, but there's definitely room to experiment and see if something can stand on its own.
Whatever the outcome, it would need adoption by big players to resonate at large (i.e Base, opensea, magic eden, zora)
