I hold both of these beliefs at the same time:

1) farcaster needs to grow beyond its current culture and userbase (mostly crypto/tech) in order to succeed

2) some of the best content on the network is OG accounts casting firmly within their particular niche

writing about products & protocols on Farcaster | prev. Juicebox, Nouns, RAW DAO | casting about coffee, hi-fi, and other rabbit holes

my cast is aimed at those who are in their own lane and not changing course to fit the current trend. @july is my go-to example but there’s many. I see them and value them.

I’m here for all the experiments. Some of it isn’t my taste. That’s why we have mute. Let the people cast!

right! I’m a crypto and tech lover, but have found that it’s most fun to post about niche interests of mine outside the realm of tech. feels like a tight knit community rather than yelling into the void. I met so many watch enthusiasts and made new friends today, which is all it’s really about
