just think people don’t know how to price or value this stuff, so they default to conventional value and speculation metrics like 1st editions, famous people, brand collectibles etc

It happens to actually be a good meme + people want a canonical coin to rally around especially since the Base trenches are starving right now

"creator economy" does two things:

1. Rich/famous get richer (powerlaw)

2. Slotmachine (tiktokified) for the poor to maintain the false illusion that everyone can make it
