Noodling on designs for this. I think there really should just be multiple sizes allowed, but I get the desire to cut scope.

The vertical layout falls apart on desktop when content area is wide enough. It’s just ginormous and takes up 80% of the visible screen.

yep or set a max height to the element and be okay with it not expanding to full width it's not a bad choice to do the latter with our setup since the grid is created by the cast cards, not the cast content expanding to full width. but i do think it's a tad too wide right now (~40-60px or so)
