I feel like my body is very sensitive to certain triggers - a single drink maybe (need to test this) or being screens too much too late.

i think they were useful in establishing a baseline of health (ie: more than 1-2 drinks is bad, eating X hours before bedtime is bad, etc) but then add a layer of complexity and anxiety, really, where people become TOO fixated on the data

The more I cared about the sleep score, the worse my sleep got—it felt like I needed to perform well. It’s kind of a trap. As soon as I stopped checking the score and just let myself sleep, things improved straight away. But yeah, even then, I’d sometimes wake up feeling well-rested and still see a low score.
