What is the ultimate community chat platform for a group of 500+ *regular people* in 2025? * Is it a WhatsApp Community w/ separate channels? * Telegram could be perfect, but most regular people I know don't use it... but they might onboard specifically for the community For meaningful engagement, it would need to be near-zero learning curve & likely needs to use a platform that's already part of their daily life... Would love thoughts!

Telegram is the best imo but WhatsApp probably has more people who already have accounts. Discord and Slack are more powerful options but I think they tend to be too overwhelming for most users.

Yea this feels like the correct answer. Telegram is an ideal experience but I can’t imagine a regular person actually engaging there day to day (if you can even get them to install the app, where you’d prob lose >70% of potential members)
