i dreamed last night of being in a large glass houseboat, drifting across calm waters. there were bright pink clouds resting on the waves. the light was golden another dream i had recently was of @gremplin breaking into fast food places to put a glass of milk on the back counter as a prank against ornery managers the usual murder and mayhem is still there too but it’s more broken up these days i contain multitudes etc

wow, really?! a typical one for me is someone is going around murdering people in my childhood house, and i’m hiding or running away, then they find me on the sidewalk and cut my throat open. except i usually blank out before i feel any pain or anything so it’s not that bad have also been shot in dreams where it kind of hurt, but like a muscle spasm, and maybe i was clenching my muscles for real to create the feeling i’m somewhat desensitized to most of them, but had a sleep paralysis one awhile ago that was genuinely freaky. someone was coming up the stairs to get me, and i tried to yell but couldn’t. i was dreaming about being in my actual bed and someone coming up the actual stairs so it felt way too real 😱

ooof sounds intense! i think most of my nightmares are some catastrophe or a dangerous animal encounter. i could be misremembering though. i feel like most of my negative interactions with people in my dreams is just them being shitheads or me failing in some way. 😑

😭😭😭 yeah, who knows what our psyches get up to at night. it’s wild to think about my least favourite dreams ever are my dog running away. will take violence over those any day

ok kinda take it back, had one last night which was a Witcher-y fantasy situation where i was being attacked and had a door slammed on me a bunch of times to what felt like death but woke up before it was over i think i do have those occasionally, but they feel like part of some larger group/context story arc rather than a personal assassin hunting me down maybe

that makes sense. i kind of like having death dreams in a way. makes the end seem like less of a big deal right before that can be a lot though 💛💛💛
