Warpcast

Warpcast is giving out $5 each day to the top 100 casters.  

Rewards are given based on the amount of engagement your casts get divided by the number of active followers you have. 

We'll run this experiment through the end of the year to see if it drives people to create more interesting content for Farcaster.

Why I'm excited for this experiment

1. Daily payout in USDC on @base to your existing wallet

2. Algo normalizes followers (we're going to keep adjusting it), so a much wider pool of people will be eligible

3. You don't have to use Warpcast to be eligible; cast from anywhere

I know it wasn’t the intent but actually if weighted by followers, and we assume that “organic” follows are more likely to be made by active users, then people on the auto-follow list probably have a lower ratio of active followers
