Less concerned with the profits being nationalized. More concerned with the government being bad at everything it does, so they’ll probably suck at this too.

Steel gets 500 million dollars in tax payer subsidies each year, why shouldn't a stake of the profits be nationalized?

I just feel like that would lead to even worse outcomes cause the government isn’t good at managing anything

US govt should’ve received irrevocable stakes in any companies that received bailouts in 2008/2009.
