/hottakes AI art is NOT art and you are definitely NOT an artist or creator if thats the only way you “make art” because YOU are not creating anything. you are asking code to create a mod podge of stolen art from REAL artists AI algorithms dont know what it is to make art, it is just taught what to steal and immitate when someone prompts it with something that matches an image in its database it is stolen and soulless if you disagree, feel free to argue with your momma - an artist

ai art is, and should be treated as, a different category entirely than traditional art 😭‼️ we can’t stop something that’s started like this, but at least we can try to change or shift attitudes to have more empathy for those who put in all their time into creating :’)

It's stolen only if it's owned 👀 Digital scarcity (aka nft, or blockchain timespamping) is still so underestimated. Gen AI should be timestamped all the time, and pay royalties everytime an original artwork has been used to create air content

And what if I was tricked? What if I thought it was real? What if you thought it was real? It relies on proof of humanity. How can we get that proof? That you didn't use these tools of soullessness... to create these beautiful things? I can agree with you to the ends of the earth. Where do we go from here...? What is the path forward?
