One thing I hate about Farcaster 2025 is ChatGPT-like quote tweets and comments from bots or people who became so merged with AI that I can't tell the difference.

The thing that bugs me is that it's such an uncanny valley. Sometimes I'm sure it's AI but then it turns out it's a normal person who sounds like AI

Early on, using complete sentences with multi-syllabic words was even treated as a tell—and today it’s become punctuation. 

E.g. from 𝕏 the other day:

Founder @ rivet.cloud + host @ WBRT + advisor @  Dragonchain + helping bring to life a marketplace protocol that can decentralize high-QoS RPC infrastructures

I would bet each person has their own interpretation—the danger is it becomes a pejorative used to dismiss other humans imo tho

Not harping on this point for the sake of complaint—just demonstrating the fact that the human confused for (or accused of) being ai phenomenon is a real thing thing

I'm fine with long sentences but if someone sounds like AI then most of the time it just means they sound mid

Too many folks use it to change their writing so it’s getting weird.
