another year trying to celebrate my birthday, only to realize it's too soon and i don't have the energy to make things happen now.

also — is it just me, or does planning your own birthday feel like the most narcissistic thing ever?
not sure i'll ever manage to pull off something for any of mine, lol.

yes, it can feel narcissistic… but when i get the feeling i tell myself i’ll never be this age again and i’ll never experience this moment again so why not celebrate myself… life is short anyways. 

on not having energy, it’s pretty normal to feel that way. give yourself grace 🤍 and if you suddenly have the energy again, maybe go out with a couple friends and family :) just do whatever makes you feel good man, no pressure king
